The Mark I was the first smart speaker product launched by Mycroft AI and was designed to use Mycroft's own Voice Assistant software. The Mark I was designed to be open, friendly, and approachable. The design had many inspirations including robots from pop culture and 60s and 70s era Industrial Design.
I was responsible for the Industrial Design, Mechanical Design for manufacturing, parts sourcing, assembly instructions, packaging, and hardware UI.
